The Learning Centre in Mablethorpe has been open since 2008. We offer a programme for 16-18s called Flare as well as accredited and non-accredited courses for adults.
We support those looking for employment through our weekly Job Club (Thursday mornings 10.00 – 12.00) and are happy to assist anyone looking to explore their learning options.

We are offering a package of skills relating to Customer Service and Marketing including the nature of ‘good’ customer service and its benefits; the importance of first impressions; and key marketing principles eg. the ‘marketing mix’. Everyone should do this course! It includes a wide range of tasks relating to managing an emergency – examination of the casualty, unconsciousness, control of bleeding and burns/scalds. This short course will involve a whistle stop tour of what it means to garden organically. This course provides a fairly in-depth introduction to academic psychology. This useful course covers the causes of food poisoning, contamination, high risk foods and much more to help you to adopt safe working practices in the handling of food in work or community settings. Mental Health First Aid (MHFA) courses teach people to spot the symptoms of mental health issues, offer initial help and guide a person towards support. We don’t teach people to be therapists, but we do teach people to listen, reassure and respond, even in a crisis - and even potentially stop a crisis from happening.
